Welcome to the Group 5 PBL Wiki!
PBL is an acronym for Project Based Learning. The focus, in general of PBL is "a comprehensive approach to instruction. Your students participate in projects and practice an interdisciplinary array of skills from math, language arts, fine arts, geography, science, and technology." (4Teachers.org)

The Group 5 PBL wiki was designed by three graduate students originally in support of a project for coursework through Wilkes University & Discovery Education while pursuing a Master of Science degree in Instructional Media. Although, we have not yet physically met, we have collaborated through interactive Web 2.0 tools such as Google docs, Gmail chats, Webspiration, Diigo social bookmarking, and this wiki. While the original design was intended for coursework, it was equally important to us that this wiki be functional and of use for real teaching. We hope you find its elements useful and practical to your class as well. All work is protected under Creative Commons License. cclicense.png
